Nice... I like to see that whole evolution of Prime played out as a gradual growth into the legendary leader, rather than the ol' "here's your Matrix, new body, and the keys to your new office" approach.
Though I'll confess the whole "bind my wound with the white flag" thing bugs me. Bind? Wound? White flag? It just feels too much like a human anecdote carried over to Transformers without altering the context and details appropriately.

It's time like these I wish I read the TF comics. Still, I can appreciate this. It's so...deep and aptly hints at what we know Orion Pax will become. I'm loving the art style (so unique!) and that last panel is kickin'!

That's a really clever revision of that scene from the Marvel comics, retconning it to more closely match what we now know about the Matrix and Primes. Kudos to you, sir.

i remember this scene in the original marvel comic, issue 71 i think. the funniest part is after the flashback where they charge out of the trences chanting 'never surrender' he surrenders to skorponok in the very next panel.
