whats with the influx of TF:animated mosaics lately? bad enough that the stores are loaded with the lousy animated toys, but we are peppered with it everywhere else, including the mosaics.
Don't get me wrong, the artwork is good....looks like the animated. I just don't like TF:animated. Good for my 12 year old, not for me.

At first I didn't care much for the Animated style, (Why they named it that I'll never know since TF was always animated before the movies.)
But once I started watching it, it sorta made sense where they were going story wise, and they did put G1 traits into the story.
The only prob I had was how the chain of command was broken so often, but hey I liked it more than the movies for my reasons.

1. Same reason we have "Batman the animated series" or "Superman the animated series" when there were cartoons of it before hand.
2. I feel "animated" in this case is a double meaning, not just media form, but as in "active" As there was more action and movement in it then many of the previous series.

Hmm. I guess I see what your saying, I just think it's pointless to name a cartoon "NAME:animated" after there's been several animated series before it.
That and I'm an animation student, so the name kinda makes it sound like it's suppose to before kids even though I watched Batman and Superman along with a lot of other cartoons with my dad when I was younger. And it just brings up that stereotype about animations, that they're for kids only.

Yeah, that's what generally happens with a big franchise. It produces merchandise, and it gains fans. What don't you understand?

Not when you're dealing with someone who isn't trustworthy. Paying guys like Decepticons too soon means that they suddenly have no more use for you. Keep the money until after completion, and the other person has a reason to actually complete it other than personal honor.
Not that it made a difference for the blue guy.
