Thanks for all the positive feedback. I offered to letter these on a whim (I used to be a bothead as a kid), but I had a blast, and I find myself digging out my old Marvel trans comics.

Sounds a lot like the exchange between Scorpy and Optimus in Marvel US #75. Nice homage to that. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the IDW designs anymore, but the artwork for this piece is very nice, especially the middle lengthwise panel. I like the way Rathet's hands are drawn in relation to Ironhide there, almost as if he's hesitant to touch him.
