Description
”Crow in the Looking Glass"
9x12”
Charcoal and Colored Pencil
August 23, 2011
I drew a crow of course, though she has a teal ribbon around her neck and admires it in her looking glass. This is another style and idea for the crow book I eventually want to make. Who doesn’t want a Gothic crow storybook eh?
I make art vlogs via YouTube that show my art being made in a time lapse, I talk about the meaning of the piece, sometimes everyday life, and I hold mini contests with art prizes as well.

This is such a lovely photo it's a real shame that it must be watermarked right in the center.Takes away from the beauty of the artwork.Would had liked to favor this one.

Yeah, well it beats having my artwork stolen again… If you watch the video you can see it without the watermark though.

I know, I really don't like watermarks either, but again theft is a very big concern of mine. I sell prints of my works that I make a living off of; and the symbol in the middle helps to deter those who might think of just cropping out the corner watermark with my info. I know there are some artworks I've seen and I know I could easily Photoshop out the watermark if I tried. I'm still trying to see if there's a better watermark I can make that won't disrupt the view, but will also help to prevent theft. =/

I saw your video and yes the crow artwork is just magnificent without the watermark. But do understand your concerns. But I am going to tell you that I believe it may be harder to get a watermark off a background that is busy. But an artist may be able to maneuver anything.A solid color I would be more worried about it as anyone can change solid colors.Well in any event thank you for sharing this beautiful photo.

An exquisite drawing again. I've see you got many many views on the video you uploaded last week. Congratulations for that! Has it been featured on youtube somehow?

Thank you Yes, the video which you speak of was featured on the front page on two different days.
I was apart of the YouTube Creator Institute and knew about the video feature for some time, so I was waaayyy nervous when the came came. (I was expecting more negative response but was really surprised that people actually liked my video haha)
