and I have been working on a Transformers fanfic (www.transypoo.com/playhouse/vi… and I, for some reason, got into drawing a map of Cybertron. I made it a territorial map rather than a topographical map, but I imagine Cybertron looking more like a traditional planet. What this means is that there aren't any giant ocean-sized chasms leading to the core. I guess it'd look more like the Cybertron of Beast Machines.

In this vision of Cybertron the Autobots have a single territory ruled by Rodimus Prime and a hall of Convoys. The divided regions you see are more about named territories probably divided by the landscape.

The Decepticons' territory is divided into a series of states each ruled over by their own governor. IE Polyhex is ruled over by Straxus in the city of Darkmount, who in turn answers to Megatron.

(If someone felt like applying this to a CG sphere, go for it!)
