Description Enterprise Legacy:

Stardate 5.8.2281: As with all great things, the time of The Enterprise-A had came to an end... After 17 years of service, The Enterprise, under the final command of captain James T. Kirk, made her last voyage back to where her legacy was born: Iowa Shipyards on Earth... From there, she was retired into the San Francisco museum of space flight, never again to take flight...
Stardate 4.5.2290: San Francisco Fleet Yards unleashes the newly christened NCC-1701-B on her maiden voyage.... However, tragedy struck when it immediately received distress signals in the nearby vicinity... What has come to be known as "The Nexus Ribbon incident" took the life of starfleet's greatest hero: Captain James Tiberius Kirk.... his legacy as the captain of the Enterprise will never be forgotten... "He was, and always will be: my friend.."-Statement made by the newly appointed federation Ambassador: Spock..
Stardate 7.9.2291
Under the command of captain Dremora Sulu, NCC-1701-B has greatly followed in her predecessor's footsteps... however, with the rise of Romulan powers, and advancements in tactical fields, the Enterprise has been refitted with newer means of offensive capabilities... "Phaser strips"... these strips are designed to more accurately acquire, lock-on, and engage  targets more quickly then the currently employed phaser turrets... one significant improvement over the turrets is the ability to engage multiple targets with a single strip, where as the turrets are limited to a single target.. mainly due to the fact they they must pass-off to a nearby turret if the target moves beyond the previous turret's range... Starfleet hopes that these new phasers will reinforce the fleet as both a sign of power to the enemy, and a sign of hope for it's allys...
2.3. 2312: After serving proudly for nearly 22 years, Enterprise-B was retired to the Museum of spaceflight. she sits proudly next to her predecessor.. Captain Dremora Sulu stated, as she relinquished command of the Enterprise, that " The end of an era is upon us.. we leave it to the next generation to carry the torch we pass.."
Stardate 8.6.2332: after 20 years, the next ship to grace the name, Enterprise is finished.. The Ambassador class Enterprise-C is launched...
Stardate 4.7.2342: After responding to a distress signal from Narenda 3, the enterprise engaged 10 Romulan war cruisers to defend the defenseless Klingon outpost...Enterprise-C is destroyed in battle... This However opened the Klingon Empire to peace talks with the Federation.... The Treaty of Narenda was signed later that year
Stardate 10.9.2360: 18 years after the loss of Enterprise-C and the peace Treaty with the Klingon Empire, the Galaxy class Enterprise-D is launched..
Stardate 9.7.2361: At the sudden request of Federation Ambassador Spock, NCC-1701-A underwent an extensive refit project to bring her up with current starship standards... Spock never fully gave a reason for all this.. His only replies were "The Nexus is coming" and "I'm keeping a promise to an old friend, whom I shall see once again..."
Stardate 11.9.2371: Enterprise-D and the Enterprise-A, under the final command of a revived Captain James T. Kirk, are both lost in the Veridian system.... Enterprise-D was forced to crash-land on the planet's surface after taking, what should have been non-lethal damage, from the klingons know as the Duras sisters... Enterprise-A sacrificed herself during the fire-fight with the renegade Klingons who attacked the Enterprise-D...."History will never forget the name: Enterprise.."-James T. Kirk's final words while fighting till the bitter end...
Stardate: 6.22.2372: The newly finished, Sovereign class Enterprise-E is launched... Under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, the Enterprise has already deterred 5 borg threats, not even months after her launching...
2373: Enterprise-E was involved in the second Borg invasion... and "First Contact"
2375: The enterprise is involved in the "Son'a Incident"
2379: What has became know as the "Shinzon Incident" has sent the Enterprise-E back to San Francisco fleet yards for extensive repairs and refits... many of her Senior crew are reassigned, while new recruits are filling the gaps after the loss of crew members during the battle of the Bassen Rift... But the one loss that can not be replaced is the loss of Commander Data... Efforts at the Soong Foundation have already begun to attempt to bring back Data....... darker days are coming.... New threats will emerge... But as long as there is a starship named "Enterprise" serving in Starfleet, History will never forget her proud legacy...

this is the enterprise-A's last refit..

built from ProjectWarSword 's Excalibur subclass

The ship looks great. It does. Only thing I really hate to point out is that the registry on her hull is slightly off center. Sorry, but I had to point that out man. :/

I don't mean to ruin anything, the ship looks fantastic. But that off centered registry is just not settling with me. Sorry dude.

The first of the Excalibur-subclass is of course the rebuilt USS Excalibur given the NCC-2041 registry.
