What a great painting! Oil paints make such nice textures. From a distance I thought this was photomanipulation because it looked so realistic, but up close I can see more of the neat painty details. Great choice of colors with the cool blues and purples, yet having a nice crisp warm yellow off to the side. Going from realism to this blobby scratchy painty mess that covers his face and body was also interesting! Makes it worth it to stare at for a bit
