the assualt rifle seems to use a pistol round, not under under powered but lacking in range. ..plus the rifle just seems .. er..like a heavy SubMachineGun
it reminds me of a Borderlands weapon, and i LOVE borderlands. I like the design over all, it just seems like a short range submachinegun instead of an assault rifle.

I didn't post descriptions for these items, but I can tell you the assault rifle does not use conventional ammunition. The story takes place in the far future.

ah, also what is under the carrying handle? it looks like a flip up sight and such. ..

It is. The handle is meant to be removable.

ah, that wasnt made very clear XD ..ok, Though one thing to remember is the reason things are often set atop a carrying handle configuration is so the eye can actually look through it while maintaining proper cheek rest against the weapon. At the height its at now that would be biologically impossible unless they rested the butt of the rifle against their face
