Description
Trusting spell casters, which I occasionally have a hard time with, especially when they get creative.Sharing is ok and also the book is now hardcover for the kick.

The prime spell caster in my group is old and forgetful.Β
It's not so much trusting him but trusting he'll remember to cast the right spell

Ah, creative casters.... yes indeed. Reminded me of my "herbal witch" character, who was great at healing - provided she had time to scour local flora for ingredients and then brew a potion........ XD

No, it was in a rather... unusual (for a game) setting, where there were no monsters apart from very unfriedly humans, and a single well connected hit equaled instant and very permanent death... so, healing abilities were more of a way to deal with illnesses or minor injuries than anything serious, like a cut throat or a spear in the gut =]

Makes sense. I was more commenting on how slow it would be in most settings. The game you're describing sounds cool!

It was very slow even in this game. Still, I enjoyed it, and what if we lost a few because it would go better with some sort of offensive magic? Esp. since GM made sure I had no ingredients or any time to make any potions, when the going got tough...
It was still fun, listening to trees and roleplaying miss-useless over there =]

At least she knows more than one way to use a spell.

Sword Guy: Unless your bubble is made out of rubber, thus it won't get punctured by the spikes, I'd rather walk.
