Larva from Vampire Princess Miyu.

Handpainted with acrylics on canvas board. I did this a long time ago....about 4 years?

edit: A few people have added this to their favorites, so I wanted to be sure and mention that I painted this as a "copy" from some original art made for the Princess Miyu series. I interpreted some of the space away from the face itself because the image I was working from was cut off.

I just don't want anyone to think I came up with this all by myself as fanart.

I hadn't done much art up to that point (and still haven't, it's more of an occasional hobby), and it was a way to get some painting practice while also creating something my boyfriend might enjoy.
