Hey folks reading the comments, this is Michael, Tree-Ink/Sergio's partner, writer, director and producer of the comic.
I speak on behalf of myself and Sergio when I say, thank you so much for your comments and support. It means a lot to us. We're excited to be sharing our passion with you. We have a long way to go before our project is completed. But we are excited for it, and hope you all continue it with us until the end.
We know Chun-Li has been on the recieving end of this beatdown. And I promise you that she'll have a chance to have a comeback and have her turn to turn the tides of this fight. BUt for now (and the next few pages), expect Balrog to continue and enjoying doing what he does best. But don't worry, Chun-Li will be strong until the end. She's the strongest woman in the world for a reason.

MayI ask you something starswordsman? Since her master Gen was killed by Akuma in Street Fighter V, would it possible for her to go after the Master of Fists?
I know some people believe she may not stand a chance, but thought it would be a cool approach for her development and expend the SF mythology.

You know something, Tree-Ink/Sergio's favorite Street Fighter Character is (believe it or not) Akuma.
I won't lie, the idea of a Chun-Li v. Akuma comic has crossed my mind a few times, since we've been working together for over 3 years now. But right now, I just want to focus all my resources on this current Chun-Li comic. We're not even 1/3 done yet.
But to answer your original question, I don't think it would be likely that Chun-Li would go after Akuma for killing Gen. Sure, Gen was her master growing up, but if i'm not mistaken with the lore, she and he did not have that great of history together. Or at least, she doesn't care about him enough to go on a revenge quest for him. Plus, with Akuma's godly power, I think she would be smart enough to realize that she might not stand a chance against akuma... at least, not by herself anyways.

That is if she does face him for the first time. Clearly Ryu did brief her of the Dark Haduo in probably in the Alpha series. So even if she does It whether alone or with her friends, Akuma will not hesitate to kill her with one blow.
And you're right about one thing: Chun-Li and Gen don't get along very well. Mostly because she wants to know more of her father yet he refused to let his pupil know. Out of this dramatic issue these characters have, Gen did kept his promise to assure her safety.
The reason why I'm suggesting is because I felt CAPCOM had make her weak in SFV story, which I find it unacceptable. She needs have some character development. Not saying doing it immediately but suggest this idea once the Gauntlet story is finish.

I do agree, Chun-Li's portrayal in SFV's cinematic story was very poor. Which is part of the reason why I was inspired to do this comic: to give Chun-Li the justice and treatment she deserves. I hope that I and Tree-Ink/Sergio will be able to deliver.
