Dr. (Paul) Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda of the Nazi party. Born with an illness that prompted the bone marrow in his legs to swell, his growth was stunted and he was left crippled. One of his legs was 5 inches shorter than the other. He stood a meer 5'4 (my height) and barley weighed 100 pounds. He was one of the few Nazi leaders to have a college education. Though his parents wanted him to become a preist, he was interested in writing. He got a Ph.D (in drama I believe). His writing cerear never took off due to his "pompis" writing style. But this style was perfect for Nazi propaganda.

Goebbels stayed with Hitler untill the very end. When Goebbels got wind that Hitler was going to his bunker to die Goebbels was hysterical. He wanted to die with his fuerher. The Russians had infultrated Germany and were headed for Berlin. He carried Hitler's body out of the bunker after Hitler shot himself and proceeded to burn Hitler's body before the allies could deface it. He brought his family to the bunker.

Goebbels wife Magda and Hitler's doctor cave Goebbel's 6 children a sedadive, then placed cyanida tablets in the childrens mouths while they were onconscious. Goebbels went down with the ship as well. He and his wife went to the garden, and it is prosumed that Magda took poison and Josef Goebbels shot himself in the head. They were unsuccessfully creamated, found and photographed.

After being baried with his children, Goebbel's grave site moved many times. After being dug up in 1982 (still in a state of decomposition) he was finaly fully creamated along with his family (it is prosumed) and their ashes were spread into the Danube River tributary.
