Description
Tupandactylus navigansNamed by David Martil and colleagues, 2003 (Originally Tapejara)
Diet: Probably herbivore/frugivore (Fruit-eater)
Type: Tapejaromorpha (Tapejarid) Pterodactyloid pterosaur
Size: 16.5 feet (5 meter) wingspan
Region: South America (Brazil)
Age: Early Cretaceous (120 to 112 million BC; Aptian to Early Aptian)
Enemies: Ground-dwelling theropod dinosaurs such as an unnamed spinosaurid that's known only from teeth remains found in the Crato Formation, Brazil
Episode: Giant of the Skies (as Tapejara)
Info: This bizarre Brazilian pterosaur had a large, fan-like crest on its head that was most likely brightly colored to attract members of the opposite sex and ward off rival males. While its unknown what the feeding strategies of Tupandactylus and other tapejarid pterosaurs were, some believe that it ate fruit of the Early Cretaceous plants as their toothless beaks were more suited to it.
Note: Based on an illustration by Mark P. Witton. Flight version based on a 3-D model of it (3.bp.blogspot.com/-dU9cc2eB86M… )
Happy Thanksgiving!
Next creature is, you guessed it, Tropeognathus

Hi again pal. I was wondering that maybe you can do Ornithocheirus for my Birthday instead of T-Rex. Sound like a plan? Please be sure to let me know. Thanks!

Sorry, it was 'cause I'm busy, lazy, and it was my birthday recently!
Yes I know what an actual Tapejara and Ornithocheirus is, but I'm requested to do these kinds of pterosaurs!

Sorry. Didn't know it was your birthday. People have to know what the true crest of Tapejara looks like. Also an updated look for Ornithocherius.

What if they don't care about prehistoric life at all? Do they really need to know that a rather obscure, frugivorous, South American flying reptile really looked like ?

A question: Do you think you can also do Walking with Beasts and Monsters creatures too? After you're finished with WWD, of course.

After the Ornithocheirus you have creaturews from Land of Giants that are Pteranodon, Giganotosaurus, Argentinosaurus, Sarcosuchus and Iguanodon(outh American).

Well actually after the next pterosaur, there's Sarcosuchus as well as two Nigerian dinosaurs (Suchomimus and Ouranosaurus), the Austalian dinosaurs (such as Leallynasaura, Muttaburrasaurus, etc.) and animals, and then the South American giants like Giganotosaurus, Mapusaurus, and Argentinosaurus

I think only Tupandactylus imperator had a 5 m wingspan , navigans would have been smaller.

yes the t-rex since i see no reason why something under the effects of gigantothermy would have feathers in an enviornment that is similar to the gulf states

Well most scientists believe that T. rex and other members of the tyrannosaurids (such as Gorgosaurus, Daspletosaurus, Tarbosaurus, etc.) were covered in feathers based on the discovery of earlier tyrannosauroids such as Yutyrannus (the largest, non-avian theropod dinosaur) and Dilong from Liaoning China (Yixian Formation) and the fact that these theropod dinosaurs were members of the coelurosauria which includes mostly smaller, bird-like predatory dinosaurs and the ancestors of modern birds. However, there is evidence of skin impressions on other tyrannosaurids like Gorgosaurus, Daspletosaurus, and Tarbosaurus, as well as the Tyrannosaurus rex specimen (Wyrex). So its likely that T. rex and other tyrannosaurids were either scaly-skinned with feathery filaments or a mixture of both since yeah, they lived in warmer areas (its likely that the pygmy tyrannosaurid, Nanuqsaurus, from northern Alaska was covered in downy feathers as the area it lived in was much closer to the North Pole with winter lasting several months of total darkness, freezing winters, and heavy snow). If you wanna see the info about this, here's the design of the T. rex from the Saurian video game which I'm basing the updated WWD T. rex on: arvalis.deviantart.com/art/Sau… and arvalis.deviantart.com/art/Sau…

You can see with some of mine I adopted his design idea for some of his dinosaurs.
