About 15 hours. Mouse, Paintshop Pro.This one's been on-and-off for ages. I wanted to try some new colouring styles, what with the chunky lineart and such. This is a new character for my forum but he was also invented for Danezle .

I'm more into science fiction and action, but I must say your work really catches my eye.

The atmosphere is stunning. Must've stared at it for about a minute before my mouse made its next move to the top left of the window.
The tattoos are amazing. Together with the pose and face... almost like being given a benediction. And your skin tones make him look like someone to hug for hours on end. 
Only thing I can think of is that I'd expect the hair at the back of his head have a faint white outline since he's backlit by the moon, too, but that's probably far into the realm of nitpicking, so... wow ^^

I mean that this appears to me to be a character whom you seem to understand particularly well as his creator. His personality feels realistic and complicated; he's not `good' or `evil' but instead very real, and you are capable of illustrating this through this drawing of him.
Unlike your other characters whose personalities sometimes I find you haven't fully explored yet or are unclear to you (sometimes even conflicting between two different drawings), this character has a personality which you seem to understand and have developed fully, even though you say he's a new character. I don't mean to say the drawing looks realistic (I don't know if that was your intention) -- just the character. This is not to say he is not enigmatic to you or us admirers; it's that he appears beautifully real in terms of character behavior, yet mysterious.
I think if you worked more on him it would be an excellent way to improve as an artist because you seem to know him so well. And also we -your watchers- would find it quite enjoyable

Wow, he looks more... solid... than your usual works. I like the chunky lineart, but I get the feeling it won't be appropriate for all situations. Although with this is works great.
