Description
Young Link from Zelda: Ocarina of Time, sitting in Hyrule Field. Painted with my mouse on PSP9 as always. Full view is a bit big >_<Tch, well, I'm a huge fan of Young Link (YL) but I oftentimes avoid drawing him. I do that with characters I like that aren't mine
It's like I'm afraid of ruining them or something. I hope this picture does the kid justice, 'cos he's one of my favourite video game characters. As for the image itself, the castle annoys me, as do the upper-right clouds. I'm quite happy with the rest though. I'm not sure how it looks when he and his sword are the only things in the image without texture
I just noticed I blurred the borders too >_> Oh well, enjoy!!! 
...please D:Edit: I toned down the blur so the crisper detail is more visible, changed the overall coolness slightly, and moved his right eye further right so his eyes weren't so close together. Does it look better or worse?

For one, i know what you mean about not drawing your favorite characters. But trust me, you didn't ruin this at all. Young Link look great, style used, expression, relaxed pose, everything about him. The layout is the second most striking thing about this deviation. I love the sword in the foreground, and the castle and the background. Amazing effect. The sky is gorgeous, it looks incredible. The most striking thing is the overall effect. The blur and lighting effects make this deviation go from good to superb. Great deviation-fav~

This looks fantastic. I think you did a great job of portraying him, and I really like the background too, especially all the details in the grass, and the lighting effects in the clouds.
