It's Pit from Kid Icarus again! Whenever I have an urge to draw a character, I keep drawing them until I think my picture did them reasonable justice. That's why I drew him twice in a row
(It's actually eight times, but that's another story)I'm not sure how this lighting looks for y'all. It might be too messy or unclear. My ref was
[link] and he's on a beach... somewhere... And thanks to $dionyziz for the feedback, being Greek and all~

And what I like best about this is the lighting here-- it's so atmospheric. Reasonable justice for the character indeed; Pit looks awesome here! And great job on the scenery as well.
And as for the wings-- I did the exact same thing just a few days ago! Finished a sketch, uploaded it on Tegaki, and then realized too late that his back was uncharacteristically bare! That was hilarious; glad to know I wasn't the only one

I don't like this picture anymore, and I don't know why it's so popular. It's sort of shoddy for my standards. My other works of Pit are better, IMO. Thanks for commenting, though. I am glad you like it ^_^

Oh, sorry what I mean is, how you just...made it look like he was actually sitting under a tree. The patches of light on certain places on his body, I want to know if you used some different brush for it.

I just painted white on one layer, softened it, and had a flat semi-transparent blue layer set to multiply over the rest of him~

Pit without wings? Maybe he got them blasted off or something. Anyways, nice picture. I like the shading and all, and the details in his costume. In fact, it looks like he's dressed in the style of the original NES game, but has the hairstyle of Brawl. WAY COOL!
