Friday Night.

She hated the tours. Nothing was worse then the month or so that Yumi was not around. Katy pulled the hair ties off her pigtails and shook her hair out as she sat down on the bed. Her costume was laid out, and even though she knew that she needed to do her calculus homework, patrolling would give her a way to burn off some energy. She started to talk off her tank top but stopped suddenly and sighed.

Homework first, otherwise I won't be able to help Jen investigate that warehouse tomorrow night.

Huffing with frustration, she pulled her hair into a messy ponytail and plopped onto her bed. She flipped open her books and started work on the first problem. Naturally her mind drifted to Yumi, and her focus waned. The alert from her phone startled her, and the pencil in her hand snapped in half.

Katy held her breath with excitement as she dove across her bed and grabbed her phone. Her fingers clumsily unlocked the screen and tapped the notification icon. The text was short, and very to the point.

<< Hey KiKi, I'd hate to spend my surprise night off alone, my apartment is very lonely. >>

Grinning wildly she hopped off her bed with a thud, quickly gather her books and some pajamas into her backpack, though the books were only for show. Her mighty legs thundered her down the stairs, through her mother and her mother's date, and out the door.

"MOMYUMISINTOWNTONIGHTANDSHESGONNAHELPMEWITHCALCULUSDONTWAITUPLOVEYOU!!!"

The man's eyes were wide with bewilderment as the teen sprinted down the road at an incredible rate.

"Your daughter is.....very healthy?"

The woman shrugged.

"Gotta be hormones..."

Let me start by saying that I cheated a little bit by putting Katy in a ponytail, since she normally has pigtails when not out gallivanting as Ms Amazing, but I don't have pigtails for DAZ....yet. Also, I know that #yumikaty is still new, so we'll assume this takes place after they've been together for awhile.

And yes, Katy's notification tone for Yumi is the Japanese Objection sound from Phoenix Wright.
