Ah, the Black Costume. Traditional Red-And-Blues aside (although his costume was originally Red-and-Black), the Black Costume is the most iconic of Spider-Man's costumes. Moreso than the Ben Reilly costume, moreso than The Amazing Bagman, and certainly moreso than the recent "Iron-Spider" of the Marvel Civil War arc.

And since this costume's been receiving so much attention lately (in both the Spiderman 3 movie and the Back in Black story arc in Spider-Man's comic incarnations), I figured it'd be a worthwhile effort to make a nice, polished Black Costume fanart.

Also, this piece is an homage to my favorite Marvel artist, Mark Bagely, done in the general style of Ultimate Spider-Man, a comic I enjoy, although I think his tallent was best served on The Amazing Spider-Man title.
