So either I’m super cute, or I’m freakish MAKE UP YOUR MIND, KIDS ^_^;; But seriously, the second reaction isn’t uncommon at all, especially in the more mean kids. They are not that fun to teach. The first set of girls tho, cuties ^_^Enjoy!

Urgh. My Japanese teacher told me NEVER to say that to anyone, that it was a serious insult (unless they were having a go first and being a total arse). I got it thrown at me a few times while I was there... I thought it was thrown at my furry brown jacket a time or two, but maybe it was my eyes.

Then again brown eyes and brown hair is really common among Asians, and Japan being pretty much a homogenised culture, seeing eye colours that isn't the standard is considered weird. (In other Asian regions though, some of the younger generation admire Western looks so they purposely buy coloured contacts. Older traditional people, eh not so much)

Oh, no, I know, it's just the times when I get told that my eyes are gross and creepy b/c it's not a REAL eye color by kids who are old enough and should know better, that's when it's a little *sigh* ^_^;;;

Blue isn't actually a common anime eye color, and if it is, it's like a magical girl, so that adds an air of unreality to it ^_^ I think she means it's gross on real people b/c it's a "fake" eye color.

I have heard it before, a lot of kids call the kids in the textbook gross for having blue and green eyes ^_^;; Other kids just don't think it's real ^_^;;
