Description
This happened about 2 years ago, and my husband reminded me about it the other day when I looked at my jacket and it still had the burn mark on it. I don't remember it being that funny at the time, since I felt more stupid and angry when it happened, but we ended up laughing about it the other day, soooo, made a comic of it.I am now very wary of space heaters <_< >_> =_=
Enjoy!

My cat once set herself on fire doing this. I am wondering if it was some weird suicide attempt because she just sat there letting it happen.

Ah yes. Japan doesn't have central heating. Thus, space heaters, gas heaters, etc.

Haha, I set some clothes down close to a space heater when I took a shower once. Luckily I noticed a bit of smoke before anything actually caught fire and just moved the clothes. I was very careful after that though 0.0

Wow! I'm always worried that my space heater'll do the same thing so I tend to go for the newer models that'll turn off if they get above a certain temperature (or if they're shaken too much - earthquake emergency!). However... they don't necessarily measure your temperature...

I'm more fond of the fan ones rather than the coil ones >_<

Yeah, the fan one can only be on if it's standing upright ^_^

You set yourself on fire once and no one lets you forget.

And that's why you never sit close to the heater, no matter how cold you are. ^^

My grandmother once set a restaurant menu on fire while retelling a tale of how she a set a menu on fire. XD she did the same thing too which was holding it too close to a candle because she wasn't paying attention.

it was only a little bit. it was the last night of summer camp, and it's a tradition that we have a "hug line" (cabins line up and hug everyone as they pass by, everyone gets a candle). i went in to hug a friend and burned a small chunk of my hair off

I remember one time my family had those tall burning candles burning and one had fallen over onto a table cloth, which had caught fire... that wasn't good!

Meh, to be honest, my family have had worse circumstances. At the end of the day, it was just a burnt table cloth and a slightly singed table protector.
