Few things: the title might change tomorrow, and that second panel has messed up toning. I would fix is, but I'm feeling super not well and I currently only have my laptop here in bed and not my tablet. so I can't fix until I feel better.But yes. I feel like I suck... until I look at a language that I've NO idea about anything with it, and then I feel a little better. I also realize, that's what a lot of people must feel when they look at Japanese ^_^;;; Also, I still can't read that site, so anyone who knows Korean... ^_^;;;

eh the second panel isnt that bad it looks pretty nice really XD I'm sorry you're sick hun, if you still are~ I feel that way too I'm not awesome at japanese but I can understand a little so I'm always happy about that.

This reminds me of these people in the aisle next to us at the shoe store. In rapid Japanese, the girl is like, "Nandesuka? Masaka! Korera wa, kawaiidesu!" and then laughed and said something about the shoes. XD

....I feel the same about Spanish....my grandmother's side of the family is Hispanic and are fully bilingual, I just sit in the corner hoping to catch a word here and there.....sometimes I'm still able to follow the context of the conversation at least.....X3

I would much rather learn Japanese instead of Korean and Chinese. @_@ Although I don't think I'll ever be able to write in Japanese. People have a hard enough time reading my writing that's in English. XD

I'd like to learn at least how to read Korean, like, pronounce it. I hear it's a really easy language to learn.

Oh no, the grammar is super logical, and the alphabet is really easy too. It's a very logical language, I hear, so it's pretty easy to pick up ^_^

Lately, whenever I've been struggling with my Japanese, I've watched a few episodes of Firefly. Listening to everyone speaking in Chinese makes me feel better.

I had that exact same feeling. Really put it into perspective when I went to Germany. It was like 'Well darn...'

Same feeling with Japanese... Considering I only passed Level 4 so many years ago, it makes me feel that I know a lot of Japanese after trying to read through Korean (I can read... no understanding lol) and Chinese (it helps that I know a few Kanji) and look at Thai (definitely can't read).
And this also happens to me... I know how to read the kanji in Chinese and not Japanese.. and vice versa. It gets annoying sometimes >.<

yep. for the site, you can try putting the link in google translate. it may make it difficult to transverse the site and it won't be exact translations, but it may help.

hehe, yeah, at least the the European langauges I can sorta recognize sounds, but with Arabic or Korean I'm all "It sure looks pretty, but I'm darned if I've nooo idea what they're saying"
