Ah, the pains of no dryer and having a not very well covered balcony ^_^;; I know I complain about this a LOT but yeah, this summer was really REALLY rainy (like a week long rainstorm) and it made laundry VERY tough. Especially b/c it was sideways windy rain which always hits the newly washed clothes.
Also, the weather reports kept lying to me. >_<

do they sell drying racks in japan? That's what I used when I was abroad in florence.

It's not so much the lack of places to put the clothes inside, it's that in the summer, it's so humid, NOTHING dries if there's no wind or sun >_< and when it rains the humidity goes up ^_^;;
But yes, they do ^_^ Not much room inside sadly

Have you tried drying your clothes in the bathtub with a space heater or fan?Β Might be wrinkly, but it works in a pinch.

The bathtub is in the shower area, so the space heater wouldn't be a safe idea, but we do hang things inside when it rains. It doesn't dry, but at least it doesn't get more wet ^_^;;Β
