Well... To simplify it basically means whenever a plan depends entirely on the target doing exactly what you would expect them to. Like... The way this would count as a batman gambit is because Sans and Alphys KNEW that the humans would try to take advantage of any discord that appeared between Sans and Alphys, so Sans and Alphys basically feigned an argument in on order to get the humans to spill the beans while the humans thought they were taking advantage of the monsters, it was really the other way around. Basically you make a predictable opponent play themselves. The trope is referred to as a Batman gambit because Batman is well known for this kind of deception used against the various villains he faces in the comics.

They can work together pretty well! And also, humans think they are smarter than the monsters (they actually are in most of the cases)

I want to see Chara and Frisk T_T although I know that Chara was a man and he was in the body of Frisk, he behaved a little daring and flirtatious in the body of Frisk but here the story continues and we will see her until the end of this wonderful comic
