Frisk has Major PTSD. I thought as much when Frisk first went under from that drug, and now I'm sure. I Recognize the symptoms, all too well.

Wait, is that even possible? Gaining a PTSD from non-existence? I mean, I know that death of a loved one can cause that kind of trauma, in terms of the loss thing. However, I don't have any reference to people gaining an unnatural fear of death from dying... even temporarily? Oh gods, someone help me out here, Does near/momentary death cause severe reactions like PTSD from something as simple as mentioning it?

This is hard to explain if you haven't experienced trauma before. First let me say that there are MANY different kinds of trauma, as well as an even greater number of ways people experience it. Next, to answer your last question, no, the near death experience is not likely to be the cause of PTSD. Whatever put you in that near death state(a car accident for example) is far more likely to give you PTSD. Now for your first question, My own PTSD stems from a fear of being trapped, alone, unable to escape, So I can say with some confidence that THIS is what triggered Frisks Panic attack. The drug trapped Frisk in her own mind, and that reminded her of the void. Remember, The player only needs to wait 10 minutes to be able to escape the void at the end of the genecide route, but how long was Frisk trapped there? For all we know, Frisk may have been trapped in the Void, Alone, for days, weeks, months, or even years before making a deal with Chara to escape. And ANY reminder of that would Trigger a PTSD fueled Panic attack for Frisk. Also one more thing to keep in mind, Trauma doesn't go away. EVER. you can learn to coupe with it, but you will always carry it with you for the rest of your life.
Now all that said, I am NOT a medical professional of ANY kind, I am merely speaking from experience. So Please, try to take my words with a grain of salt.
