I just noticed, but Chara never calls Toriel "mom", she always calls her by her name, I wonder if he already did that back when Asriel was alive or if it's something that started with his "resurrection", as a way to emotionally separate himself from Toriel. (maybe he thinks he's not worthy to be her son anymore?)

Although the reason might not be directly explained in the upcoming story (depends on the plot arrangement).
Frisk calls Toriel and Asgore Mom and Dad, whereas Chara always calls the goat parents by their own names.

Aaa I just binged the whole comic and it's really great! Usually I'm not into the Frans ship but I really like the art and the story - excited to see what will happen next ;D
Also I just wanted to say I love the way you draw expressions. There have been some absolutely classic ones throughout the comic, just take Chara's face in the last panel for example xD
Edit: I just realised you are the same artist who made the art about a cross over between Undertale and Detroit Become Human! I thought your art style was familiar but somehow I read your whole comic without realising I had seen your stuff before lol

Stand-in is a Frans comic which Frisk disappears over seven years after Chara’s power was counteracted. One night, Frisk returns without a sign. Everything starts to change within Sans, Frisk, and Chara; and their inner truths are going to be ultimately revealed.
