We will see (a part of) Sans' thoughts on the next one. Chara's attitude toward Frisk is like "I care about Asriel and because you(Frisk) remind me of him. I will treat you like how I want to treat him from now on." Frisk has basically become the object that Chara projects his own wishes.
(and the reason Chara hates Sans is even simpler - Sans has tricked and defeated him so many times in the genocide timeline. And generally speaking, their personalities just don't fit each other)

A lot of people seem to think Sans is acting like a jerk, but I can understand him acting the way he's acting.
Just because someone seems apologetic for terrible actions that they have committed towards you, doesn't mean you HAVE to forgive them. You have every right to still be hurt and mistrustful because it's not easy to just be like: okay I trust you, just because they either apologised or seem like they feel bad for the crimes they committed. Having trust for someone takes time to build up, and isn't something you can just make up in a matter of minutes, hours or even days. While I feel sorry for Chara, it doesn't really justify actions of manipulation and even possible past genocide routes. He's gotta SHOW he's really willing to change and do better. Words don't mean a lot unless you live up to what you say you're going to do.

In Papyrus case, I would take it as the result of resting. Just like you can rest in the hotel to recover from your damage (game's logic)

Sans, they share this body, it's as well Chara's hand than Frisk's hand.
And he didn't care about physical consequence when he has drugged them, hum? It was still Frisk's body after all who has took the drug, when they (sans and alphys) had no certitude that it would work. What if it had poisonned them? what if they felt into coma? What if they had had a big allergic reaction? Human body can be fragile after all, especially with (new, not tested) medics.
Maybe it's magic but still, they didn't know how worked Chara and Frisk's cohabitation after all.
And they didn't ask Toriel about it, when Toriel is Chara and Frisk mother and should have a right to say something about it.

I think that if there are separation of Frisk and Chara one day, Chara must have a physical/alive body or it wouldn't be fair.

I dont think anyone would ever accuse Sans of not being hypocritical. I think Sans is just a person/ monster trying their best that sometimes can mistakes and be (very) hypocritical. Not justifying Sans' actions, he stuff to make up for too, I just think he honestly was trying to what he thought was best ofr Frisk, though his hatred of Chara doesnt help his judgement in stuff sometimes though.
Thats part of the reasons why I always compare Sans and Chara in this comic, the are similar than they would like to admit. I but both would hate to be compared just like how Chara and maybe Sans would hate me describing them as very "human" characters, haha. That being said, I think Chara has a lot more to make up for, and try to be better for, I can also understand Sans hatred and anger here, & him just not forgiving Chara and moving on here.
