Yeah, about that, how long did it take to complete this drawing? I mean, from preliminary sketch to the finished product? I'm genuinely curious.

I think I just did it within a week off and on while working on other stuff. I'd say maybe 4-5 days of off and on working.

Oh man... This is amazing! You went above and beyond with this one! First of all, Brigitte's armor is so freaking detailed and well drawn... All of the pieces look neat and it looks super accurate! The feet... Oof, the feet. The soles looks so freaking cute and the those have a great shape! Their poses are super nice as well! The little blush in them gives them a rather neat shape!All on the instruments in there were a really nice thing to add! Their are a lot of ways to have some fun with Brigitte, it seems X3
Her expression is super cute as well and I love how you drew her hair! Also, the subtle indication that D.Va is the tickler are a nice touch!
Overall, you did a great work on this one! It Amazing how each one of your works are just si detailed and filled to the brim with quality!

I appreciate it Vandiward! The armor took the longest to do. I had to look at quite a good amount of images, from concept art, to screenshots, to official wallpaper, just to really get a good look at how the parts fit together and stuff. Took quite a while, heh.

Thanks NTK!!! One of these days I should really post up a quick step-by-step sorta thing for my drawings I guess... But do you mean the shape of the soles or the coloring or softness of the soles? Or just in general you feel like there's something to learn from there?

Generally I think your art is gorgeous.
I particularly like her softness here. Being an armor-clad lady with such long and yet delicate looking feet is an amazing contrast. From a simple but more than enough amount of lines to highlight some creases and forms on the sole to the highly expressive long toes (they must be long for that furry thing to tangle them) even downright to having nails (which I rarely do) is to me not only a feast to the eyes but also an example to follow.
In fact, I just faved this one and completely skipped the one with the scribbled feet, particularly because I want the feet to be in detail (and the scribbles, well, cover up what is exactly what I want to see).

oh, wahhh, massive compliment ahaha, But I see, I see.Β I didn't really think about the contrast between the bulky armor and the feet. I guess I'll pay attention to those sorts of visual relationships a little bit more... But as far as the amount of lines...I try not to do too much on the soles, because it seems like the more lines there are, the more cluttered and less soft they look. Which is something I admire in Lululewd 's art. But the way you draw feet are pretty simplified too in that aspect.
And, heh, I just like nails/claws haha
In any case, I'm glad this can serve as a point of reference for you. That's pretty neat!

In general, lines on the soles arent always bad to add - just make sure to use them both wisely and considerably~ x3 (especially when the pose of the foot calls for it, such as toe curling/toe scrunches!)

I faved a couple of her works before! I do like some soft looking soles, but I do like them a little bit more detailed.
Trust me, before I decide the lines they'll have: I make a lot of different lines and eventually fall for the ones I leave. Even if they're pretty much the same most of the times, I do play around a lot until I finally come down to what I think is more satisfying. Also, nails are sometimes and sometimes not present.
After uploading my art and then seeing yours, I'm actually feeling guilty of not doing her nails.

I give credit when credit is due and my comment on this particular piece should serve as an example of some of the things we often hide when appreciating art when we're not feeling much to comment. While I think it is the first time (maybe) that I commented on your stuff with such detail: you should know that there are other pieces on your gallery that I love on detail alone. Maybe I haven't been as vocal lately, but respect is respect and you deserve much.

Thanks dude. It was interesting trying to figure out a way to use that composition/pose and make it something a little different but still the same, since the commissioner requested that setup specifically. It was a fun challenge I guess.
And your guess is as good as mine. Though, I imagine Biscuits' popularity this year might have D.Va feeling some kinda way.
