Really great work on this.  I love the DC-15A.  Easily one of my top SW weapons.  Its just such beast of a rifle.  The idea that it would be incredibly difficult for most soldiers to use, but lethaly efficient in the hands of the clones, makes it all the more fun.

You highlight a couple of awesome details that I never picked up on before.  I knew the optical sight worked as a handhold when attached to the bottom, but I never considered that the whole barrel could rotate.  I also never picked up on the iron site at the barrel end.  I love the concept that it would work as a monopod as well.

I saw some photos..of the DC-15..with the handgrip..up and I thought that was odd...till I remembered that the DC-15A..had a hand grip scope...that could only make sense for spray fire...from the hip...or waist...but not for sniper functionality that the DC-15A..can do..with multi-mode functions...so...I was intrigued.

So where did you see these pictures at cause the only ones that I ever see are pictures with the hand grip under the barrel? I have never seen it with the hand grip on top of the barrel before.

Um..one of the small toy..battle scene packs..had a picture like that and the picture had been pulled and blown up from the Episode III movie...it was a clone sharpshooter (really a clone airborne trooper) with Cody's Legion.

yeah..and the Episode II Attack of the Clones Visual Guides had a special cutaway specifically on the DC-15A blaster rifle. And the interesting thing is...right now in the U.S. and the world is experimenting with hot and cold plasma...and it could be possible to create a plasma rifle which the DC-15A is. Also the empire uses DC-15A albiet modified with a different color of Tibanna Gas...on worlds or situations where the use of "normal" blasters...is prohibited because of the environment....or radiation levels...very strange. Also I do know that in the Legacy of the Force....the Mandolorians..faced an Imperial Sniper armed with a plasma sniper rifle..that almost completely wiped them out...easily...the plasma rifle...practically concaved in their beskargam plates....ouch. And it took Jaina Solo to eliminate the sniper...and even she almost got keboshed.
