I just have one question: Since you are selling on Redbubble, did you ever have any problems with your art being removed for copyrights?
I am thinking of doing a store, as well, and I was browsing several sites. I read the rules on Zazzle and others, and according to some comments, they will unfortunately remove fan-art if it is ordered.
RedBubble seems much better, and Sega is pretty chill with stuff like this apparently. Do you recommend the site? Also, aside from your amazing art, how is the quality of the clothes?

I personally haven't had an issue with copyright for my fan-art on there. I think the only ones that would get removed are the ones who outright put official or stolen art up, rather than drawing a design themselves. I mean, you get other sites with limited print runs that thrive solely off of fan-art, such as TeeFury and such. Don't think there's ever been any issue with those sites doing that either.
RedBubble has some really quality products. Everything I've ordered has been really nicely printed. So far I've ordered several shirts (adult and child sizes, been through the wash many times with no fading), a coffee mug (SO happy with the print quality, real crisp, I can't wait to get more) and even a canvas bag. So I highly recommend their products! Also if someone orders the wrong size clothing, I've seen posts from people that said Redbubble just told them to give that one to a friend or donate it and they'll send a different size out for free. So I think the customer service is pretty top notch too.

They just removed one of mine as well, which is why I thought of yours, since yours inspired me to sign on to Redbubble in the first place. That sucks if they're starting to remove them!

Yeah, I'm not really sure why it's been suddenly happening. I also had my Fallout character removed from there as well about 2 weeks before my Sonic one was removed. Wasn't why I made the TeePublic account though. I was contacted by one of the staff from TeePublic suggesting I make an account with them, since they apparently liked my Frieza fanart I'd posted on DeviantArt a little while back. Sorry to hear your stuff was removed too.

Well, it's kinda odd, because 2 weeks before my Sonic one was pulled, it was my Fallout one... Which is Bethesda's business. So quite the coincidence that 2 different companies would request my work get taken down in such a short space of time. So I'm not sure it's necissarily the companies themselves reporting these. Could just be someone from DA or elsewhere reporting them.

Wow, that store allows to sell Sonic fan-art like that? Would you mind telling me, is this hard to set-up? How does it work? Do you have to pay money to register, keep the items in your home, ship them yourself?
Or is it super easy, just send your image to the website and they do all the rest, and pay you in Paypal?

Not exactly making much out of it. Mostly people just buy stickers, which I only get like 20 something cents back from and even then you have to wait till you've made at least 20 bucks before you actually receive any money.
It's free to register and upload your own work. Not sure what's required in other parts of the world, but being from Australia I require an ABN (Australian Business Number) to register.
Basically you upload your artwork, and they'll do the rest; printing, shipping and so on. They also deal with any returns that may be requested from buyers.
And yes, you get paid via PayPal monthly, assuming you've gone over that $20 threshold.
