Description
A sketch I've been working on.
I was failing at doing some line-art on a trade, so I got the urge to do a sketch of Wolverine.Never drawn him before, let alone men in general, so I've had a lot of help from ~Nevarato , who's been giving me lots of tips, to just get the sketch down. lol
Probably gonna change a bit more, before I do line-art and colour it properly, but I'd like to upload something, so this will do for now~

His very top and head still looks a bit thin. You gotta scale his top little more(from the bottom of his pecs up, including the arms) and make his shoulders just a little bit wider. Cause atm looks a bit like he has chun-li legs. And his head u need to make wider. You kinda gotta imagine his head like a t-rex, very wide and blunt: [link] [link] And here's him actually fighting a t-rex lol: [link] (if u quickly flip between the 2nd and t-rex picture, they're kinda pulling the same face lol)
It's all coming together very nicely. Your very close to getting the look just right.

But yeah, they need to put more effort into showing wolverine's state of mind/emotions and thinking process. The thing about wolverine is that he'll out live his friends and loves, as well as killing some of them himself. So the emotional baggage and bad memories keep building up. Never at peace. The curse of immortality. A bit like the story of the soldier from that old tv show "the storyteller": [link]

Lol why "the wolverine". Such a weird title. You know how i feel about comic movies lol. Plus i dont like Hugh Jackman as wolverine, he's too clean looking and not gruff enough, plus the hair colour but he could dye it if he really wanted to commit lol. I try to stay away from comic movies except for Iron Man. (but at least Hugh Jackman is better than the new spider-man, man that spider-man movie will be a spit in the face lol) I wonder if they'll actually keep Daken. Probably will, but they'll probably give him some lame origin, since Daken's original origin to becoming like he is, is a bit weird. But then that's when he's older, so it probably wont show it. Hopefully they'll fix those SFX from x-men origins wolverine. Here's the wolverine i love lol: [link] [link]
