Description Ah, camping. Communing with nature. Finding spiders EVERYWHERE. Now, I understand, that's their territory. We are the ones encroaching. But for reasons I will never comprehend, spiders seem convinced that we want them ON us. What, pray tell, is so inviting about my pants that makes them into a thriving spider metropolis overnight? Do I smell nice, or something?
Sorry, stupid question. I smell amazing.

But yeah, there's not much of a joke to this. I mostly just had fun with facial expressions and coloring techniques. So, you know, enjoy.

Also there's a spider on your face.

One of the benefits of doing your camping in the desert: not having this happen.

If the outside was so great, why are bugs always trying to get inside?

Ok..I have a fear of spiders, and this comic makes my skin crawl. And after reading over the comments, I noticed one thing..that no one seemed to notice. What's with the rat/opossum 'sleeping' there?

Tents... are not a secure form of lodging.
And hey, rats get sleepy, too.

Well, I've only ever been camping in my own backyard. Of course, we lived out on a farm, so we had a BIG 'backyard'. But I was figuring it was more of a opossum, than a rat, since you're more than likely to see one of those when out camping.

I guess where I live, it would most likely be a muskrat, if anything. But yeah, for the comic I was mostly just trying to imagine the least pleasant thing to wake up with. Pink, fleshy rat-thing was pretty much it.

I like them just fine, as long as they maintain a comfortable distance. And are behind glass. And I'm wearing protective gear.
