Doc stared at the photo for what seemed like an eternity, time had slowed to a slow crawl as he took in every detail of the picture in his hands. He could feel an anger swelling in his belly and that vein in his forehead starting to twitch like always. Slowly his gaze lifted from the picture to his troupe of Pokemon and their current state of disrepair.

Firstly was the Raichu, Tara, who despite the welt on the side of her face continued to swear up and down that wasn’t her fault. No, blame continued to be shifted onto Tess, a Haxorus that currently was paralyzed and snarling threats at the electric type. Adding to the body count was Xavier, a Vaporeon that despite taking the brunt of a misdirected blast of electricity, only seemed to be otherwise in acceptable condition. He merely glared daggers at Tara as he nursed the burns he’d taken in the scuffle. Xoe, a Houndom of less than brave stature, was curled up in a ball, nearly in tears while the Gardevoir Rae tried to comfort her. She did this despite the blast of fire she’d taken from her teammate when the poor girl had been startled when the electric rodent was turned into a sparking projectile and just barely missed her. Meanwhile, the Fearow known as Feyona simply preened her feathers with a clear look of disinterest in the entire mess.

“I can take it again, monsieur,” the photographer told him. “Though, I am afraid I will have to charge extra.”

Doc took a moment to look between the picture and his team before letting out a long sigh and shaking his head. “Naw, this is probably as good as it’s gonna get.”
