Could Twitch Plays Pokemon Crystal be even better than the original? Maybe. I'm certainly enjoying it so far.ΒStarted this as a warm-up sketch while watching the misadventures of AJDNNW, but I had to color it as soon as Oxxy Ozzworm the Love Bug was added to the team.Β
And yes, I fully expect this image to be obsolete as soon as I post it.

when we nickname a pokemon, we usually look at the resulting chaos and try to find meaning based on what that pokemon does.
for example: Β we've named the nidoking "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" "King Fonz" because "aaaayyy!" was the fonz's catchphrase. Β we've already nicknamed totodile "lazer gator" because he uses leer to a ridiculous degree.
we should nickname the pidgey "Brian" after the main character of monty python's "life of brian" because he isn't bird jesus, but everybody is trying to make him out to be bird jesus

Yeah, I know why and how the pokemon are nicknamed. Like air being an awesome basketball player. Lazor gator suddenly makes sense.
