Just a quick update for all of you watching my progress on this one.I'm pretty satisfied with the way it's going so far. The unfinished hand looks very odd without the shading! I'm not sure how much longer the rest will take. Now I'm back at work from my hols I'm generally too tired to work for long periods, but there's not much more detail to do now so it might be finished this weekend.

In reply to your message on my other Alan WIP. It pleases me immensely that the effort I put into the little details on the skin are noticed and appreciated. Sometimes the scanner doesn't pick them up as well as I'd like.

Looks amazing so far, can't wait to see and fave the finished piece. You choose a wonderful ref for drawing.
And it's amazing how fast you're drawing this. How long did this take so far? I am slow drawer, because I work on and off on a drawing.

I'm glad you like the ref, it took a LONG time to find something suitable.
I don't really time myself, but I reckon I've been working on this one on and off for around 6-7 hours altogether over the last week.

Thanks! I think by this point I'd spent around 7 hours on it. I reckon the finished piece took me around 11-12 hours. I never time myself so they're only rough estimations.
