Description
So, asked me to do an illustration from one of his stories, and gave me a few perfered scenes he'd like to see. Alas, I couldn't draw any of the ideas he asked for. Because when I started reading his story--"End of an Era"--I couldn't make it past the first scene break. To be perfectly honest, I barely made it past the first paragraph.Because that story opened with the King preping a submachine gun so that he could join his soldiers in the last-ditch defence of his capital. And....that just had to be illustrated. On the spot. Hail to the King, baby!
...Maybe I'll get to the rest of the story later...

A scene of unrestrained badassery did you in, huh?
Also, I love the clothes, they remind me of David Lynch's version of Dune.

"Unrestrained Badassery." Yeah, that's the ticket!
As far as the outfits, I was going for the 19th/20th century high imperial look....But that's probably what Dune was going for as well.
