As this gallery approaches its 3-year aniversary, it is time for the traditional reflection upon the previous year. A time when I go through my old sketchbooks and look at all the drawings that didn't get posted in the gallery. Most failed drawings obviously failed for good reason, but there are a few that, despite their artistic or thematic shortcomings, still deserve to be shared. And it will be these drawings that will be featured in this: my third annual sketchdump!

Interstellar war has brought giant aliens to Earth! And now that these soldier girls--Galates, which earns each girl the nickname 'Galatea'--have secured the planet and driven off the evil monster enemies, they have settled down to do what all soldiers are want to do: fraternize with the locals! For even though the Humans are small, they are easy to handle, and very fun to fraternize with.

On the left, a girl stationed at Fort Wyoming, who has picked up a lot of the local customs.

In the middle, a Galate dressed to impress.

And on the right, a soldier girl with a bit of a scar, who is probably chiding her date keep to focused on the parts of her that aren't scarred. Which shouldn't be too much of a problem....
