Yeah, mostly likely she'd do whatever she could to avoid any guy like that. That's half the fun of them, they're actions are dictaed by stereotypes, but would never associate with anyone who actually fits the stereotype.
And they don't always take guys away from thier family. Sometimes they (temporarilly) join his family! There is indeed a very complicated relationship between Amazons and regular farmwives...

That would be a funny scenario. I can see the farmwife setting the table, placing an especially large serving tray down for the "guest". The amazon would thank her for the hospitality and explain how the husband raped her. The husband would turn red with embarrassment, while the wife chuckled knowingly. "Yeah, I've told him to stop raping women twice his size, but he never seems to learn."

Well, that's why a lot of Amazons choose men who already have a family--taking that as proof of fertility, as well as a mark of good character....
