For f***s sake...Yeah, happens too often to me. At least I had tons of motivation to finish this, unlike other pieces I'm currently working on. Plus messing around with SAI texture brushes was fun.
It turned out surprisingly well O__o Part of the texture was random image from Google, you'll find it when you search for "splatter texture" lol

Okay, I find it too amusing to pass the chance so time for some education:
Lapis lazuli is actually just a blue rock that happens to exist in our world. Yes, in our real world instead of that stupid cartoon's. It's a rock, not a talking blue girl. Your precious gem characters are all based on real life rocks.
Simple. Rocks.
I named my Skydancer boy after a rock because he reminded me of that at first glance, not after a popular cartoon character. Capiche?
And I have the right to do fan art of my FlightRising dragons and name the pieces however I want. Nobody is telling me how I must and how I mustn't do my art, I know what dA's Terms of Service and Copyright Policy contain to avoid inapropriate content.
I am changing my work only when the piece happens to be a commission and the commissioner or reciever request changes. Or I find some mistakes I personally think that need fixing.
I seriously don't understand why you SU fans get your panties in twist over so simple and idiotic things but hey, I'll just grab some popcorn and enjoy the mindless drama while I can

I was able to force myself to watch only couple episodes of it and had enough. It's a question of taste and I personally don't see what's so special about it. Also spare me from fangirling and summaries, I'll just skip those.

I looked up Lapis Lazuli to find pics of mu waifu, but I kept stumbling apon shit like this. If something is hindering my DA experience, I'm gonna express how I feel.
