Description
Another sunny and warm day had arrived.

The air was filled with light and sweet breeze carefully stroaked the grass, making it bow to butterflies and bees who were busy with taking care of everything that bloomed. Rilo stood still, looking at life around him. Then suddenly an idea visited his mind and it told him to head towards the mountains far east. He has found his favourite marbles there which were the most colourful and shiny ones. Smiling and praising himself for the good idea the dragon started to jog towards an old forest. It was the fastest way to the high mountains, to the place, where every living being can touch the sky with their nose and taste the clouds.

After several hours of walking and shorter trots he looked up and stopped. The trees here were old and powerful. Every year they grew thick roof of leaves above the forest, barely letting any sunlight through to pet the soft grass beneath his feet. Couple leaves danced in the dim green light while making their way down to the ground.

"I wonder how far is it...." Rilo thought to himself. He wanted to be back before the sunset and who knows what else you may encounter when seeking for little reasures in the mountains.

Faint crack behind him made him turn around in the speed of light. Eyes wide open he scanned his surrounding but saw nothing.

"W-who's there?" His voice was shivering when he tried to speak to the unknown possible danger among the silent plants. He kept listening. Silence.
Then there was another crack and it came closer to him than the previous one.

Somebody was out there for sure. Rilo backed down and jumped when his tail touched the mossy tree on his way. He quickly hid behind it and tried to fit all his body behind it, leaving head out to peek around. And there was it! Something slim and shiny slipped pass further away and melted with the forest background before Rilo could tell what that was. He swallowed and waited, pushing claws into the ground so he could take off as fast as possible if the creature over there decides to catch him for lunch.

He froze when noticed two dark blue eyes locked with his. The eyes were glimmering in the light and looked curiously right at his soul. Rilo took one step back and waited. He noticed burning orange scales running up between the eyes, then the snout and behind it the rest of the head. It looked like a dragon....but you can never tell. He slowly lifted his head up little more so he could see better. The dragon took one heavy breath and suddenly jumped up. Dragon's body was even longer than his and it was incredible in what speed the stranger was able to move. Stranger had large scales covering all of it's body and they glimmered so beautfully in the light. The body seemed to have a mind of it's own but was perfectly controlled by the owner as it made quick turns in the air.

After commiting couple jumps the strange dragon stopped several metes away from him and lowered head, eyes still locked with his.

Rilo swallows again and speaks up: "Who.....are you?"

The stranger seemed to be calm and tilted head little to the left when heard smaller dragon' question and managed to create friendly dragonic smile on it's face.

"I am Sierra"

Her voice was smooth and warm, making Rilo forget his fear. He climbed out of his temporary hideout, constantly keeping his eyes on her. Sierra lifted her head up a little and watched Rilo taking his steps. Her hair barely moved in the weak wind.

"And who are you and what are you doing here, if I may ask?"

"I'm..... Rilo."

He examined the bigger dragoness standing in front of him. She seemed harmless and with good intentions. Rilo forgot his fear completley and spoke up.

"Hey, can you fly?"

Sierra chuckles and replies: "Of course I can" and immediately takes off, pulling many leaves and blades of grass with her. She maintains her grace, swiping couple tree branches down on her way as she twists and dodges between the trees. Rilo watches her move. Sierra soon lands at the same spot and looks entertained.

"Why are you asking?"

"Phah, I can fly way better.... but today the wind is from the wrong direction and I can't show you."

Sierra chuckles again and starts walking closer to him.

"You can't fly because of a breeze?"

Rilo glared at her with interest and tried to make up a new topic. He gasped as the idea arrived and immediately stood up on his hind limbs and sat down, using his tail as bouncy chair.

"I bet you can't sit like that."

He smirked and crossed his arms, waiting for Sierra's commendation.

Sierra bends her back and lifts forelimbs off the ground, swinging them through the air and aims a spot beside Rilo, still keeping her dark blue eyes at him. Devious smile appears again as she speaks:

"I haven't tried but I think I can't. My body is way longer than yours and it's pretty hard to keep balance like that."

"Ha, I knew it! Only I can sit like that!"

"Sorry to break it for you but I know several other dragons who can sit exactly the same, you know. No point to boast about that, kiddo."

Rilo gives her a gaze and snorts.

"I don't believe you."

"Then don't. I hope you'll have a nice day sitting like that here."

She tilts her head with smiling look as she speaks and after finishing the sentence the dragoness slips pass him, disturbing the peace of leaves and grassblades again. Rilo is forced on his fours when the wind, created by Sierra's fast movements strikes him. He watches the dragoness leave, eyes wide open.

The silence has arrived again.

"Wow...." Rilo thinks to himself. "I'm sure she lied about the other dragons."

He wipes some leaves out of his mane. The forest ceiling has painted the sunbeams green and they hit Rilo's eyes as he looks up and tries to remember where he was heading...

*cries* This is my best digital drawing ever ;n; All the new ideas I tested here turned out better than ever.... just.... what? Tri? What? ;w; I just can't believe it...
And wow, new Sierra has arrived! Hhhhnnnn I'm in love with her burning orange scales ;u;
