Interesting. You know, looking at this, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in the canon universe or if these two belong in Prohibitionstuck. Kanaya's outfit certainly seems similar to the one it that setting, and you have to admit, The Midnight Crew would work well in a gangster-era story. Still, they look awesome. I really like how different their poses are. Kanaya's has this sort of relaxed, almost playful quality, whereas Diamond looks and sounds ready to throw down.
They've got some fun dialogue, and I can't help but smile at how flirty Kanaya is (so much for the Chastity Specibus!). The one thing I don't like is Diamond's smile; it doesn't seem right with how tired and annoyed he sounds in his dialogue.
When I first saw this, I had to go to the MSP wiki to check to see if this was canon. I have to say, I'm still hoping that Kanaya and Vriska can get back together as Moirails (and that Vriska will get back together with John), but I don't think I would mind these two if Hussie wrote them as well as you did. Well done!

Well someone asked me for those two, and I also wondered if there was something between those two that I missed. I never thought about Kanaya and DD being moirails... I can accept Vriska (though I'm not a fan of hers, except when she is with John) and I'm more Kanaya <> Karkat.
I have to admit, when I thought about an idea for those two I though about Prohibitionstuck... in a way it can be in the same universe, long after the prohbitionstuck time, when Kanaya became more confident 
About DD, indeed now that you talk about it XP DD is a strong character for me to draw, because he is so neutral, it's difficult to imagine something with him. So sorry if I screwed up :/

Yeah it was quite unusual, but since it was only moirails and not matesprits I was fine with it (because for me, it will only be Rosemary to the end)
