Check out these CATS
they belong to a friend of mine, and that’s good and everything but this commission was against me from the start– Apparently, cats are rather difficult to draw and I was unprepared. Skip a few months and more than a few style changes, and here we are with a final picture of two kitties I’ve met a few times. They’re great.Related content

It looks like you do birds really well. I don't know anything about drawing, but I love the feathered, layered look to the fur!

Thanks! I love drawing birds and I've mostly been doing them on the side so I haven't had much of a chance recently to do much. This one was also an experiment for a different method in doing those feathers, and I'm glad it worked out!

Thanks! I wanted to give them a sort of ethereal feel at the last minute working on this, so it ended up being all glowy and sparkly and soft, while the fur can probably never be replicated at this point. I have no idea how I managed it lol.
Tut is such a ham and Turtle takes some time to warm up to you, but they're both great kitties.

It was certainly worth it! I've got an entirely different method now that I'm just waiting to try out again.

That's great! They are both cute cats, but I like how Turtle looks like she's about to swat something out of the sky.
