Swandaisy and Rinji who hunts in the treetops have been chosen to meet up on this special holiday occasion in the valley of streams.

Rinji stalked through the unknown territory, unsure of what he would find. The last he was here was during a great war between the clans. He had also heard of sickness traveling fast through the forest and did not wish to be a part of it, but still he walked; going to the previously arranged place he was supposed to be going. He reached a streams in the midst of great oaks and sat cautiously, frequently twitching his ears and giving a curious sniff.

Swandaisy walked between the golden pasture of heather clan territory, her eyes flicker to the right when a magpie flew above her. She blinked as it flew away into the blue sky.

Rinji gave another sniff, but this time he smelled the fresh scent of another cat. He got up and hid in the undergrowth, watching carefully for any signs of movement. He was glad that the wind was coming towards him, assuring him that the other cat would not be able to detect him. Rinji heard the soft, almost silent flickering of wings in the distance and assumed a bird had been frightened not far from here.

Her nose twitched slightly. She began to walk again. Her gaze kept on switching to left and right. She stopped once more. As she had heard paws steps of Rinji.

Rinji flicked his ears in subtle surprise, knowing he had been found out. "As expected from a real warrior." he mewed humbly, stepping out from behind his hiding bush. "I've never been trained as a warrior like you have. It's no wonder you detected me quickly." He stretched his sore muscles and let his claws sink into the mixture of dirt and frost beneath him.

Swandaisy jumped at Rinji's meowing. she chuckled. "Ahaha, thanks." She smiled slightly. Seeing no danger from Rinji

"My name is Rinji who hunts in the treetops. I come from the Tribe of Nobodies. " Rinji looked back behind him. "I am quite a ways from home, but in the spirit of this holiday I was told to meet someone here." He sat down once again. He wasn't the best at making friends and surely didn't know anything about warriors. "Is it you perhaps?" he mewed questioningly.

She nodded slowly. "I'm Swandaisy. Nice to met you." She tilted her head "Maybe so." She giggled.

Rinji breathed in her scent. "You must be from Heatherclan." he mewed, suddenly interested. My tribe helped you and Stoneclan in the war against Willowclan moons ago. How are things now?" He questioned, ready to tell his tribe if Willowclan was causing more trouble.

Swandaisy blinked, and began to think, about the battle that happened, when she was an apprentice, or...well yeah. "Goof, From what I've heard." She meowed.

Rinji thought about that for a second. "Goof huh?" He repeated. Rinji thought of all the cats that died or were injured in that battle, and in the end it was to be called a goof. What a loss. "I hope it doesn't happen again then. How is your clan? Are you making it through the sickness?"

Swandaisy blinked. "The sickness, ..It's...gotten quite, out of hand, Or I think it has. But Everyone that's alive is doing all right. I think."

Rinji shuddered at Swandaisy's doubt. His tribe hadn't been hit hard with the sickness, but hearing that it was slowly getting out of hand gave him a really bad feeling. "You aren't sick, are you?" He mewed with a bit of caution.

She shook her head.

"That's good." Rinji let his shoulders relax once more and looked out into the stream. "It's beautiful here." he exclaimed. "Much better than the kittypet life." he said with a hint of bitterness.

She smiled. "Yeah." she glazed onto the stream, smiling, Before looking at the tribe cat.

Rinji chuckled. "You're not much of a conversationalist are you?" He sat thinking for a bit. "Swandaisy.... I've always thought warrior names were interesting." He glanced at her in pure curiosity. "What would my warrior name be if I were a warrior?"

She nodded slowly once more. "Hm. Well...Maybe..." She stopped to think. "...Shrewfrost?"

"Shrewfrost huh?" Rinji pondered a moment or two with no emotion on his face. He then smiled and looked happily at Swandaisy. "I like that. Why would that be my name? Surely it doesn't mean your looking at me on a chilly day like this as if I'm prey." He joked.

She chuckled, "Well, It was just a thought." She smiled.

Rinji jumped back. "A thought to eat me?!" He laughed jokingly and then settled down. "I like it though. Just call me Shrewfrost!" he said cheerily.

She burst out laughing. "aha! All right, Shrewfrost.~ " She meowed cheerfully.

Rinji or the newly named "Shrewfrost" puffed out his chest as if he were a new warrior. "Shrewfrost and Swandaisy against the rest of the forest. The strongest warriors in the valley!" He stalked up to the stream's edge and hissed at an unsuspecting frog which then croaked loudly as it hopped into the water.

Swandaisy giggled as she walked next to him. Watching the frog leap into the water.

Rinji smiled happily as Swandaisy. "I like you Swandaisy. I really wish we didn't live so far apart." His ears flattened at the thought. It had just occurred to him that once this meeting was over. He might not ever see his new friend again.

She frowned, but smiled. "But Hey! Maybe...One day we can plan a time where we can see each other again!~" She purred happily, nuzzling her new friend, in order to cheer him up.

Rinji purred in response. "The half-moon then, we'll meet here. Is that fine?" Rinji looked into Swandaisy's eyes wondering if she had really meant it. It would be a risk crossing the border of Willowclan again, but it would be worth it.

She nodded quickly. "Yes! That'll be a great time to team up again~" She purred.

"Great." Rinji mewed happily. "I can't wait until then" He flicked Swandaisy's ear with the tip of his tail.

She giggled. "Same~" She purred before her gaze fell on a firefly, that flew above the, two cats.

Rinji looked at the firefly with a smile. It was starting to get light and he should head back to the tribe soon. "I hope that night will be pretty." He flicked his ear as a mosquito tried to make his dinner on it. "Swandaisy, I should go. I'm a full-time provider and I've been gone a long time. There are mouths to feed in the tribe."

She frowned slightly. Ears dropped back, but she gasped, then smiled. "Stay there!" She meowed, before running off

Rinji looked in surprise as the she-cat ran off through the brush thinking curiously to himself. Moments went by and he started to twitch his tail, flicking it at fireflies here and there.

Swandaisy came back, with a plumb rabbit in her jaws. She went up to Rinji, dropping it in front of him. "Here! You can take it back to your cl-- tribe!~"

The rabbits scent made Rinji's mouth water. There's usually only mice and occasional rats in his tribe. "Thank you" He bowed. "I hope it's alright, since I'm an outsider." He took a step closer and licked Swandaisy's ear before picking up the plump hare and turning to leave. "Until then." He muffled with a grin on his muzzle.
