I've always wanted to discuss this topic although I still have loads to learn from it.
So basically, this is MY understanding on flow and rhythm. It may have a different definition for other artists, but this is how I understand it.

I must confess that the fist thing a saw was the first drawing, and my brain thought "this'll be a nobbish tutorial". hehehe
Back in 2007 I was drawing people that looked more like domino pieces with round eyes, "u", "o" or "-" format mouth and Naruto hair.
I must haven't made a single sketch in half of the days who passed since then. I felt frustred, looked up at many places what I should do to improove, but nothing of that seemed like the right guide lines for me.
One mouth ago I finally got it! The secreat for improoving is: focus on the fricking action of the figure! Feel the figure! Draw the form, not the contourn! Why couldn't no1 have told me it in 2007? GRRRRRR

I took a look at in the book and one thing it mentions a lot is the physics of the life applied to drawing. As a physics student myself, I approve it! xD
I still have stuff to learn from Vilppu's manual, but I know where I'll study from next ^^. These type of book are the best for me, as I want to use my drawings to tell stories, not to show off badass anatomy skills.
