Mine used to as well, but they don't since I started using elmex toothpaste and mouth wash. Not sure which one of those worked, but it worked just fine.
(not sure if elmex is sold in your country, you could try a similar brand recommended by dentists. But mouthwash is sold everywhere, and it also prevents bad morning breath.)

Oh, dear god, don't remind me... I had to watch a cheesy, thirty-minute PSA video about puberty in fifth grade. Fifth grade.

Fifth grade? In my school, they did it in Sixth Grade. With no advance notice. Just... some random day in the Spring, the receptionist lady told all 6th grade boys to go to the gym and all 6th grade girls to go to... was it the choir room? (I'm not a girl, so I don't remember). And then they played that video - could even have been the same one you watched. Of course, no one paid attention. I come from a REALLY backwards part of the world, so I think the school did it that way so parents wouldn't be able to pull their kids out that day.
Seventh grade was "health" class, which if I remember correctly mostly consisted of why smoking is bad, what AIDS is - other STD's would be discussed in high school health class, and (to their credit) basic info on various types of birth control - although I believe my state banned teaching about non-abstinence BC a few years after I graduated. Since the class was in the Fall, we also watched Hell House (at the request of the majority of the students I might add).

No link; I'd never subject anyone to that. However, I feel I must educate, and for that I apologise.
Hell House is a live performance art thing put on by fundamentalist evangelical churches in parts of the US (mostly the South), especially popular in the mid-late-90's. It's meant to be a "Christian" counterpoint to "pagan" haunted houses. The point of them is to show multiple vignettes of "sinners" suffering the consequences of various choices that get them, well, sent straight to hell (either metaphysical or here-and-now). In short, it's designed to "scare 'em straight".
These infractions include, but are not limited to: Using drugs, having sex out of wedlock, taking birth control, getting an abortion, taking part in Halloween festivities, not baptizing your children via the full-immersion style, not attending church every Sunday and Wednesday, being gay (or lesbian or bisexual or transgender), and so on.
As you can imagine, showing something like that in a public school is EXTREMELY illegal. I don't know if my teacher ever got in trouble for it (I think he may have), but it was justified in that the majority of the students themselves asked to see it.

Sucks to be you, sucks to be me too. You only watched puberty, my schools tried to scare everyone with video's of STD's that manifested on both genders private parts in 5th grade, 7th grade, and 9th grade.
Big thank you to my parents who gave me a weak stomach for intercourse related subjects, so I never had to attend those classes after the first ten minutes.

i have a weak stomach when it comes to anything biological. Β shows like discovery's "Monsters inside me" or that other one, i cant rememeber the name but i remember this woman slipped and inpaled her self on a 6" cast iron fence spike, this ausie slipped and got blown up (inflated) from the inside, i tried twice to watch it but got lightheaded on both occasions

Well, in 6th grade, my health class textbook had pictures of what a smoker's lungs look like or what liver looks like when it has cirrhosis due to alcoholism... That pretty much scared me away from smoking, any sort of tobacco, and alcohol (though the drug awareness program we had in elementary school, D.A.R.E., also played a major factor in that)...
