Isnt the plot of the story her being a human as a pony and magic hands and all those things? But yea i like how her attention is on bon bon and not humans. First time they slept in the same bed i got goosebumps!

She said that she loved to play caster classes in games, and now she can finally learn magic too. Thought the irony is, she won't be able to learn certain spells, like levitation. But she won't rest till she can at least teleport.
The plot of this story is the promise she made and tries to fulfill.

I thought it was mainly because you didn't include any human-related stuff in the comic. Nobody (or nopony in this case) can be obsessed about something 24/7, but if they're reminded of their obsession somehow, they'll sure bring it up somehow. Also, in the fanfic "Anthropology" she was able to hide it pretty good (not from the start though). What I mean with this that some obsessed people (again: or ponies in this case) know how to hide their obsession.
One last thing for now: If you make Lyra human-obsessed or not in this comic, that should be completely your decision in my opinion. I'm not one to force my opinion on others.

Well, ponies in this story don't really care to hide their obsession (Twinkleshine with information, Lyra with magic, BonBon with science and experiments, etc).
This particular version of Lyra is in a different position than Anthropology's Lyra I think, as she supposedly spent most of her life as a human being, so magic is way more appealing to her.
But the overarching theme of the whole story is the promise, and generally about keeping promises. So her personality is built around that, she won't rest easy till she fulfilled that promise she made.

I just realized that Lyra is like Bourne at some point. She doesn't remember anything about everything, she can do things without knowing how she knows how to do thoose and she does things by instinct, like try to stand with her rear hooves. And she was doing something importat when she lost her memories.

Let me just say, I'm enjoying this story you're telling about my favorite pony (in case you couldn't guess). I'm not really big on the "Lyra was once a human" idea, but you've got my full attention with this story, and I'm quite curious as to what you're going to do with it.
I know it's taken us months and five chapters just to get through the first two episodes - any plans on mentioning other episodes? Might be kind of interesting to see what's going on in the background.
