i'd say netflix as well but DL was taken off recently and they never picked up ego trip for streaming. you'd have to get lucky with boomerang airing it.Β

That's the entire reason boomerang exists. It's up to them to actually air shows that are too old or considered "nostalgic" or "old school". But even then people have the internet and netflix or other streaming sites like hulu that advertise you can watch old favorites right on your tv with their service at some adjusted price. even boomerang is on cable so thats at a price as well.Β
I dont have cable so i just end up with super old stuff channels occasionally have the right to for filler.Β

When I look at the Future Dexters compared to Dexter himself, I see it as Dexter through different age spurts in his life rather than them just being from different alternate future universes.

He does indeed have some surprises ahead in life. I often imagine he'd still be confused by long legs, considering Number 12 isn't very graceful. The movie really does show how he grows....literally and as a character.Β

Yeah sure does, even though I haven't seen its first debut in 1999, but I still remember the movie as clearly as it came.
But even though he'd be confused that is what he would turn out to be in his teenage/early adult years, I mean it's not like he's gonna stay small forever.

Ego trip did it much better though. In "Babysitter Blues" he aged himself, appearing taller and very dorky to the point its a stereotype joke. While it was a teenager reference to 'haha he's gonna grow up to be a tall lanky nerd', it wasn't well done in terms of showing his age or how he would turn out. And the movie did throw a few good surprises at how he turns out. Nobody expected the world to "looks like a bomb hit" and 12 was surely a surprise.Β

Yeah that is so true, funny thing I was gonna mention that episode, but changed my mind XD! But that is what I like about Ego trip shows the much of the evolution of all the characters during their years in age and how they come out to be including Dexter, I think it was the best on Dexter was represented in this movie and I enjoyed that.

It makes the entire movie great. I'm glad Gennedy was kind enough to end with "here's how Dexter will grow up" instead of some giant ending adventure, with no hints on his future.Β

Definitely hope so too, though I love Candi Milo as Snap, I don't like her to much as Dexter, but like you said she is the only option. So what are we gonna do?
