"Lucas... you're blushing."The sad proof that I have no real life and nothing better to do on a Friday night than sit around and color drawings.
It may be the idler in me talking, but it was actually very nice to check out of life for a while, crank up the Christmas music (dear Lord, it's already December!), and do basically nothing. I've enjoyed this week about as much as I would a root canal. 
So coloring this slightly old drawing of Sophie and Lucas doing something cutesy and a little humorous was fun. I've had a girly taste for sappy couples lately (which is extremely ironic when you consider the current state of my own engagements in matters of the heart). Anyway, hope you're being more productive in some kind of capacity than I am this Friday night. Or maybe you took the night off too, in which case, I tip my hat to you.

Can't say I took the night off, as I'm still at wotk on my manuscript (getting close to the Big Finish now, really I am!).
This is patently adorable, and there's not a single thing wrong with sappy: the plucky young heroine of my story has rather a sappy, romantic side...when she and her friends aren't blasting bad guys with rocket-propelled bullets...

Yeah, it's a busy time now. Sometimes it's healthy to step back from all that stress for a little while, though. I'm sure you'll be able to take care of all your projects and do very well.
