Did you actually render the Rain, or is it Postwork ?
IΒ΄m using Octane too, and struggeling with rendering RayΒ΄sΒ of Light, DustΒ and Rain....any advice ?

Hey there, thanks for your comment.
Yes, the rain is actually painted in PS - much faster and gets the job done much less complicated as coping with geometrical rain inside Poser / Octane.
If you're looking for wet-skin effects on characters I can recommend our RedSpec TGX Wet Beta skin shader for Poser / OctaneRender - it's available at www.redspec-sss.com in the Shop / Poser-Section.
Ray's of light can be easily done, but you need a volume that sourrounds a scene - namely a box to which you then assign a scattering material that "catches" the light rays and makes them visible. You can download the material .poe here sta.sh/018uqtq2uyiu to assing it to the box inside OctaneRender.
Make sure that the camera stays OUTSIDE the box however.
Dust and Rain are generally better left to Photoshop, as mentioned above.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Noel
