As requested, by - here comes Polands GROM or (Jednostka Wojskowa GROM im. Cichociemnych Spadochroniarzy Armii Krajowej) in full.
Just as it is the case with many special forces on this planet, something bad had to happen before they actually came into existence.
In the case of forming the Polish GROM namely two events were of high significance, the 1982 Polish embassy Siege in Bern, Austria and the shootings of two Polish diplomats in Lebanon.

Shortly after, plans were introduced to form a special military group solely designed to defend Polish citizens and act as a shield against terrorists. In June 1990 GROM was formerly activated.
To this day, they regularly train with famous special-forces units like DEVGRU, Delta Force and the British SAS.

More recently GROM saw action during the 2012 soccer world championships as VIP protectors and Task Force 40 in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan were they regularly conduct counter-insurgency-operations.
Their full name (particularly the last part "Cichochiemni" refers to the "Silent Unseen" special operations paratroops of the Polish Army in exile, that carried out important strikes against the Nazis in WW2 Russia behind enemy lines. GROM (which stands for the word "thunder" in Polish) was formed in their honor.

The operative shown here carries a MSBS Radon 5.56 mm rifle, which is manufactured by Luznik Arms Factory on the base of the ACR and will soon see adoption by Polish Armed Forces in general - it is already in use by GROM. It is outfitted with a Tri-Laser combat pointer, an ACOG optic and a APEQ 15 target-pointer.
Polands official camo pattern is called "Pantera" of which this operative wears the desert version.
