If you submitted it assuming that I was also finished with mine. I'm sorry. I'm overly careful in contests, usually entering something a little early in case I actually can't get anymore work done on it or can't submit it later.

I really, really, really wanted to do a full scale action battle when I entered 's tournament...

But unfortunately my first opponent wasn't a ninja, or a fighter, or a mage, or a robot, or even menacing in any fashion whatsoever... In fact, both his references demonstrated that his character had neither the coordination to drive nor play a video game without endangering the lives of people around him...

I couldn't have imagined this fight being any longer. I'm sorry. Thems the breaks. It's like fighting porcelain dishes. After the first blow you don't really have to break them anymore. I'm grim, not cruel.

Severe Edit: switched an extra picture into another panel, changed the layout, added some text to keep comedic timing made two endings from one.

Super bonus Edit:
I've realized that you can't make anybody happy, any of the time. Oh well.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE:
GRIM DOES NOT HAVE SHADOW POWERS!!!
For those of you who have seen "Peter Pan", it's like that. And anyway, the shadow can only interact with dead things and other spiritual/non-physical things. Grim doesn't have any superpowers.
